MARY BIRD PERKINS CANCER CENTER The Cancer Center’s C.A.R.E. Network has partnered with the Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living to offer this successful smoking cessation program. Over the course of this 8-week program, groups meet for 2-hour sessions once a week. In fact, when combined with other smoking cessation efforts, structured classes like these have been proven to greatly increase the rate of quitting successfully.
